Managerlicious Kelly "Tacos Rule!!!!" Walsh

It’s important to put a face to a name, which is why I’ve been meaning to get a snap of Kelly Walsh, our brand manager/event coordinator/go-to for everything person for Tacolicious, on the blog since Kelly started with us a few months back.

While Joe and I tend to grouse a bit more about life, Kelly is the kind of person that uses capital letters for emphasis when she writes as well as lots of exclamation marks and smiley faces. She’s eternally positive, cheerful, hard working and always on the ball. She might just be our yang. (Or is it our yin?)

Before coming to us, Kelly attended the CCA and worked for Peas of Mind as their marketing manager; she was largely responsible for growing the two-person natural foods company, ultimately placing them in Whole Foods, Amazon and more. Which is all very cool. But when she ended her cover letter with “Oh, and tacos rule!” I think we knew she was the one.

You’ll see Kelly at the market stand every Thursday—and not just looking pretty. She’s at Laïola by 7 am, loading the van with the rest of the boys. On other days, she’s busy coordinating private parties as well as gigs with companies such as Banana Republic, Gap, Heath Ceramics, Method, Foodbuzz and more. She’s also got us set up at Bloodhound every other Monday and we’re going to start doing Rye on Wednesdays now. Details to come right here on this blog. But minus the CAPS!! I told Kelly, she really needs to stop being so darn enthusiastic.
