Three-Michelin-Star Chef Slings Tacos for Tacolicious

Have you ever had a taco made by a chef who holds three Michelin stars? (Ahem, Christopher Kostow.) Well, next week, you can.

Starting this Thursday, Tacolicious kicks off our third annual Guest Chef Series at the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market stand. The Guest Chef Series directly benefits CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) through a 100-percent donation from the sale of the tacos made by our guest chefs. Currently, our program has raised over $10,000 for the non-profit organization.

The past years have brought chefs such as Alex Ong of Betelnut, Craig Stoll of Delfina, and Michael Tusk of Quince to sling some tacos. This year, the talent to taco ratio is no different. On Thursday, Preeti Mistry of Juhu Beach Club brings a little Indian spice to her taco. Next week, Christopher Kostow of famed Meadowood travels from St. Helena to San Francisco to join our roster of all-star chefs. Kostow will be making a veggie taco—but trust us, it’s no bean-and-cheese. And this is just the start. So get your appetites ready and mark your calendars for Thursdays, 10 am to 2 pm.
